SAIT Bachelor of Applied Business Administration (Online)
CGA-Canada, in partnership with the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), has developed an online degree with a major in Accounting and Information Technology. This will appeal to CGAs interested in accounting and Information Technology (IT).
This program has been developed in response to the growing need for accountants with expertise in Information Technology. Accounting courses highlight technology issues, and Information Technology courses focus on Accounting and Business Information systems. The integration of the two subject areas leads to a unique and highly marketable skill set.
The Information Technology courses start at an introductory level. There is no requirement for you to have a background in technology. CGAs are also eligible to take any of the courses for the purpose of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) without the requirement of completing the entire SAIT degree program.
